The Children’s Festival events are the largest and most unique celebrations of multiculturalism for children and families in Australia.
They are days of sharing, learning and exploring the culturally diverse modern cities that we all live in and share with one another.
If children are able to experience this sharing and understanding from a young age, The Children’s Festival hopes that adults too, will be able to share and understand, so that we can all live harmoniously within our in communities.
This year, we have exciting events including 16th Bankstown Children’s Festival. For the first time ever – our inaugural Children’s Festival in the City of Sydney (in partnership with Community Relations Commission For A Multicultural NSW and NSW Federation of Community Language Schools) will be held on Sunday 30 March 2014 at Belmore Park (opposite Central Railway Station) Sydney. So we would now like to invite your group/s to be a part of the Children’s Parade at 11.30am and/or to perform on the day, and make it a spectacle of colour and diversity in that special way of our Children’s Festivals “Playing Together and Living in Harmony“. Please refer to the “SCF Expression of Interest” for further details.
Get ready for a day of celebration where you will experience different cultural traditions, costumes, dances, performances, songs, lion dancing, drumming workshops and share traditional and delicious foods with one another.
Join us for some fun and games, take part in the Children’s Parade, witness the dancing and musical performances on stage or have a go at drumming, kite flying or take part in the poster competition.
There will be endless exciting activities for the kids including scout adventures, lantern making, costume parades, arts and craft, rides, animal petting zoo and more.
To all of our sponsors, thank you for supporting us each year and to the families that come on the day – we hope you enjoy it!
See you there!
Children’s Festival Team
We would like to thank our sponsors this year for their continual generous support for the Children’s Festival. Without your financial or in-kind donations, the Children’s Festival would not be able to continue and flourish like it has for so many years. We hope that it will continue to flourish for many more years to come, with your tremendous support. Children’s Festival 2014 Sponsors
Read messages from our wonderful supporters. Without their support, we would not have been able to produce these fantastic family events for all to enjoy over the past 13 years. The Children’s Festival thanks all of our believers and supporters. We hope that one day we can bring The Children’s Festival to many more different locations around the country to celebrate a National Children’s
